It is with our greatest honor to have Dr. Chu-Fang Lo to write an article for Farming IntelliGene¡¦s seasonal newsletter. Dr. Lo is currently a professor in National Taiwan University, Institute of Zoology. The lab which led by her is also an OIE reference Lab in Taiwan. Dr. Lo¡¦s specialty is crustacean viral diseases. She focused on study of WSSV which is causative agent of one of the world's most serious shrimp diseases since 1994. In the past 10 year¡¦s research, she has collaborated with other researchers and presented more than 60 publications. She has also received a lot of outstanding awards from several organizations. The IQ2000TM WSSV Detection and Prevention System made by Farming IntelliGene were based on Dr. Lo¡¦s research and it has shown the greatest credibility for viral disease detection.
